Part A: Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

We operate the StyleBite mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App. By using StyleBite, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

StyleBite is a social platform that allows users to share daily fashion outfits (photos and reels), food reviews and experiences, participate in contests, build daily outfit streaks, chat with other users, and optionally monetize their content through advertising revenue sharing.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: name, username, email, phone number, profile picture, and bio
• Content you create: photos, reels/videos, captions, food reviews, ratings, comments, and messages
• Contest participation data and information needed for prize distribution
• Payment or payout information when you request creator monetization payouts

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and advertising ID
• Log data, including IP address, access times, pages viewed, and app usage statistics
• Approximate location at city/country level based on IP address or device settings
• Analytics data, such as features used, time spent, and engagement

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from advertising partners such as Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network to serve and measure ads.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the StyleBite service
• To enable social features, including likes, comments, shares, chat, ratings, and streaks
• To run contests, determine winners, and distribute prizes
• To personalize content and recommendations
• To display advertisements through Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network
• To calculate and process creator revenue share and payouts
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
• To communicate with you through notifications, updates, and support
• To comply with legal obligations

4. Advertising and Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network to show advertisements in the App, especially in reels and other placements. These services may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads.

You can control personalized advertising through your device settings:

• Android: Google Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising / Tracking

5. User-Generated Content and Music / Copyright Disclaimer

Important: When you upload photos, reels, or videos, you are solely responsible for all content in those posts, including any background music, songs, audio tracks, or other copyrighted material you add.

StyleBite does not provide, license, or endorse any music or audio. If you add copyrighted music or songs to your reels or videos, you do so entirely at your own risk. StyleBite has no responsibility or liability for copyright claims, takedown notices, or legal actions arising from music or audio that users add to their content.

By posting content, you confirm that you have all necessary rights and licenses for any music, audio, images, or other materials included in your posts.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may share information with service providers such as hosting, analytics, AdMob, Meta, and payment processors; when required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, safety, or property of StyleBite, our users, or the public; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; object to certain processing or request data portability; and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

For users in Pakistan, we aim to comply with applicable Pakistani data protection principles and any Personal Data Protection legislation in force. Users in the EU/EEA/UK have rights under the GDPR, and California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. Contact us to exercise your rights.

9. Children’s Privacy

StyleBite is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or under 18 in certain jurisdictions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

10. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside Pakistan, including in countries that may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you consent to these transfers.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

Part B: Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the StyleBite App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use StyleBite. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it updated. One person may maintain only one account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post, including photos, reels, reviews, and comments. By posting content, you grant StyleBite a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote that content within the App and for related marketing purposes.

You are solely responsible for your content and represent that it does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.

5. Music, Songs and Audio in Reels

StyleBite does not provide a music library or licensed songs. If you add background music, songs, or any audio to your reels or videos, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use that music.

StyleBite accepts no liability for copyright infringement, claims, takedown requests, or legal actions related to music or audio that users include in their content. We may remove content reported for copyright violation without prior notice.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to post illegal, harmful, hateful, harassing, pornographic, or violent content; impersonate others or create fake accounts; use bots or scripts to interact with the App or manipulate votes or ratings; engage in fraud, spam, or data scraping; interfere with the App’s security or integrity; or violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

7. Contests

Contests, including City vs City and University vs University, are governed by additional rules published for each contest. Participation is voluntary. StyleBite may disqualify participants for rule violations, fraud, or unfair practices. Prize distribution is subject to verification and applicable tax laws. Admin decisions regarding winners are final.

8. Creator Monetization

Eligible users may earn a share of advertising revenue generated from ads shown in connection with their content or profile. Revenue share percentage, eligibility criteria, and payout terms are determined by StyleBite and may change. Payouts are subject to minimum thresholds, verification, and compliance with our policies. StyleBite is not responsible for taxes owed by creators.

9. Intellectual Property

The StyleBite name, logo, design, and all related intellectual property belong to us. You may not use our branding without prior written permission.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, StyleBite shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the App. This includes claims related to music, songs, or audio that users add to reels or videos.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Multan or other relevant competent courts in Pakistan, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your country of residence.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
